The ERG is happy to announce that the group will extend again as the Czech Republic has officially become a member of the Erasmus programme, so we are welcoming Jiří Kozel as representative from Palacky University Olomouc.
The program delivered by our new ERG partner offers students a unique opportunity to gain academic knowledge and clinical experience in the fields of diagnostic imaging, nuclear medicine and radiation oncology.
The program combines theoretical instruction, supervised clinical practice, and cultural integration to support both professional and personal development.
The academic component is aimed at CT and MRI Parameters and Protocols. This course introduces the technical and clinical aspects of CT and MRI imaging, focusing on parameter optimization and imaging protocols. Next to this, students are introduced to the basics of the Czech language and cultural environment.
The clinical training in three specialized hospital departments aims at:
- training in diagnostic imaging techniques including CT, MRI, X-ray, and interventional radiology
- exposure to nuclear imaging methods such as PET/CT and SPECT/CT used in diagnostic and functional imaging
- practical experience with radiotherapy planning and treatment using modern oncology technologies
